I have my collection on a shelf next to my computer. I never realised how “big” it was. It all started with me going to the (at the time) only place you can buy Doctor Who-stuff here in Sweden. The Sci-Fi Bookshop. I had only watched two episodes of Doctor Who and I wanted more. So I bought Series 4 Volume 3, The Dalek Collection, Voyage Of The Damned and Planet Of The Dead. I don’t know why those four but it was enough for me to love the show. Coming from that to have watched classic Doctor Who, read books and magazines, travelled to England twice just for Doctor Who purposes and best of all, have met David Tennant & BilliePiper, I now feel that the Doctor Who-community is a part of my family. The family I never had. Doctor Who saved me in so many ways from the traumatizing childhood I had to experience. When I have children, I will tell them bedtime stories about a madman in a tiny blue box, that isn’t really tiny at all. And whenever there’s trouble, he will always lend a helping hand.
